A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Our room was spacious and Chantal provided excellent walking recommendations. The food created by Claude was excellent with amazing flavours. We will definitely be back.

Enchantés par notre séjour dans cet endroit
calme et raffiné. La disponibilité de Chantal , ses
conseils judicieux en matière de découverte de
cette région secrète, ont contribué à simplifier

Le raffinement des plats de Claude a séduit nos
palais. Un grand merci à nos hôtes qui nous ont

En Juillet 2012, en villégiature à proximité de Collonges La Rouge, nous avons cherché un établissement moins "touristique" et nous avons trouvé notre bonheur chez vous.
Les plats étaient un réel plaisir pour les papilles.
Votre accueil d'une grande chaleur malgré la pluie qui nous a surprise au moment de vous quitter.
Nous ne manquerons pas de vous rendre une autre visite en juillet de cette année.

We chose Turenne as the starting and finishing point of our 7 day walk through the Correze and Lot regions (via Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Autoires, Rocamadour and back to Turenne - Sept/Oct 2012). We're very glad we did so as it allowed us to stay twice in this lovely hotel! Chantal was also happy to look after our excess luggage while we walked from village to village across this beautiful and historic countryside, and even offered to lend us some of her maps.
Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and was one of the few we found in France with tea making facilities in the room (very important for Australians!)
The meal (35 euro menu) was simply the best we had in France, with a range of fresh local specialties, beautifully presented and of course local wine.
Turenne is a lovely old French village dominated by a chateau with two towers, dating from about the 12th century and with links to major streams of French culture and history, including troubadours, Cathars and the Albigensian crusade, 100 Years War, Huguenots and more.
